Five unforgettable days at the British Art Fair at Saatchi Gallery. 🤍

Grateful for every conversation, every person who stopped to spend time with my work, every thoughtful exchange, and all the wonderful and creative people I had the chance to meet throughout these five days.
Talking about dreams and out of body experiences gives me so much joy!

A very special thank you to Rebekah Tolley @rebekahtolleydigitalist for bringing DIGITALISM to life and for putting so much heart, energy and dedication into creating a space where digital art can be seen, experienced and taken seriously.

Thank you to Odette for curating my work with so much care, and to The Relative Gallery for bringing me into this beautiful experience and supporting my work along the way.

British Art Fair is over, but I think this experience will stay with me for a long time 🤍

The people I met, the conversations I had, and the wonderful artists I had the privilege of exhibiting alongside made these few days incredibly special.

And a huge thank you to Rebekah Tolley @rebekahtolleydigitalist for all the hard work, care and energy that went into bringing DIGITALISM together. Thank you for having me and for creating such a special space for all of us.

A special thank you to @tamara.admoni who curated my wall and has been by my side throughout the whole process.

“Field Notes” doesn’t hand you a story. It hands you a way of looking. At the AI Entertainment Con hosted at @pollackcinemas I walked out thinking about it, and I’m still thinking about it.

The tools are new. Curiosity is not.

MATTHEW MORPHEUS

Matthew Morpheus, is a Ukrainian conceptual artist based in Scotland.

His interdisciplinary practice spans digital collage, painting, drawing and installation. His work examines political mythology, structures of power, collective memory and the ways contemporary media shape our understanding of reality.

Alongside these concerns, he explores the relationship between outward composure and private emotional experience. His meditative drawings and chaotic collages offer different ways of approaching the complexity of what people feel and what they reveal.

TARA IN ABSTRACT

Tara in Abstract is a Barbados-born, US-based photographer and family physician whose practice centres on minimalism, curiosity and the overlooked beauty of everyday scenes.

Guided by instinct and her surroundings, she works spontaneously with a camera, finding unexpected compositions in colour, light and natural forms. Her photographs invite a slower kind of looking, drawing attention to details that can easily pass unnoticed.

Her work has also become increasingly personal. Through series including The Art of Letting Go and Evolution of Self, she explores vulnerability and self-reflection, allowing photography to become a way of expressing thoughts and feelings that are not always easy to share.

JESSICA AVARELLO

German-born Jessica Avarello is a 3D visual artist who divides her time between Germany and the United Kingdom.

Her practice draws on inner reflection, vivid dreams and visions. Through abstract, surreal worlds and sculptural forms, she translates thoughts and feelings into images, using the creative process to explore emotions, dreams and memories.

Her REM-Sleep works sit within this wider interest in dreaming and inner experience. Across her practice, imagined environments give visual form to experiences that are personal and difficult to express, inviting viewers into worlds shaped by her emotional and imaginative life.

ARIELKO

Arielko is a Jerusalem-based artist, designer and creative director working across artificial intelligence, film and visual communication.

His practice uses an approach he calls “non-prompting”, combining limited initial instructions with careful selection of the resulting imagery. Unexpected outcomes become material for artistic exploration, with his choices shaping the work as it develops.

Presented under the title UNPROMPTED, his works introduce unfamiliar figures and entities emerging through this process. The presentation brings attention to the relationship between chance and intention, and the artist’s role in recognising and selecting possibilities within unpredictable results.

ARIELKO at the British Art Fair 2026.

The Relative Gallery presents @arielko this September at @saatchi_gallery, with our booth curated by @odessoart as part of DIGITALISM, the wider British Art Fair section curated by @rebekahtolleydigitalist.

arielko is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker and creative director working across AI, film and public installation. Rather than treating AI as a tool to precisely direct, his practice approaches generative systems as unpredictable collaborators, using deliberately minimal prompts to expose the biases, tendencies and unexpected visual language of the machine.

At the British Art Fair, we will present UNPROMPTED, a series of digital works developed through this minimal-prompt process. Sparse instructions are left open to interpretation, allowing style, composition, colour and content to emerge largely from the generative systems themselves. The resulting works take on distinct organic and biomorphic forms while retaining a strange sense of visual kinship.

Alongside these works, arielko will present pieces from Chosen, first exhibited in 2022 and marking the beginning of the non-prompting practice he has continued to develop ever since.

His work has received recognition including the French Touch Award at Artefact/MK2 Festival 2026, Best Experimental and Best Music Video at Altera Festival 2026, and Gold at the Seoul AI Film Festival.

The title alone carries weight. Field Notes (2025), directed by Ariel Kotzer, arrives with the quiet disposition of a scientist in the field, images assembled in Midjourney, attention turned steadily toward something worth recording. What happens when you stop trying to control the AI?

ArielKo calls it non-prompting. Two or three words, maximum freedom for the machine, and your job shifts from operator to curator. It started as a reaction against the arms race of longer and more controlling prompts, and it runs through his work in The Human Race, Field Notes, and his collaborations tied to Peter Gabriel's music.

He's a 2x Altera Festival winner, a visual artist and designer with a career spanning branding and campaign work for Teva, Google, and Intel, plus permanent public installations including Tel Aviv's light rail stations.

This one is hands-on. You'll see how non-prompting plays out in real work, then try it yourself, first with image and video, then with sound driving image. You'll leave with your own short piece built from a shared audio prompt, and a guide on making AI art without fear. 🔑

For filmmakers, visual artists, and anyone who feels boxed in trying to control the output.
