First powerlifting meet in the books: 7/9 lifts done and a strong start to my powerlifting career. When I registered back in February, I planned to compete at 82.5kg… but I ended up dropping down two classes into the 70kg division—one of the more competitive women’s classes with 7 lifters. I finished 4th and hit the numbers I needed to qualify for USAPL Nationals.
Huge thank you to my handler @arielreneebrinker for keeping everything smooth and helping me take some big risks, and to my coach @trevor.walko for the last 6 months of work leading up to this meet. Also shoutout to my team @ksupowerlifting who came out for support.
Grateful for everyone who came out or watched the livestream, your support means everything. This meet was the perfect baseline for where I’m headed next. Time to keep building. This was such a great experience with such great people. 💪🏼🔥
