The sun was shining in July ☀️

I’ve been documenting the little moments of my life since college, long before I ever thought of calling it a career. Three years ago, I had just earned my MBA and found myself laid off, standing at the edge of a life I hadn’t planned for. So I decided to bet on what I already did well and give full-time creating a chance.

Right before this message came through, I was on the phone with my mom, telling her how tired I had been feeling and how distant some of my dreams still seemed. Then God reminded me that none of my work has been wasted.

My life is not defined by the weight I carry, but by the blessings carrying me. And as far as I’ve come, I know this is still just the opening chapters of the story.

Try again, and again, and again.

This was the first time I’d dipped my head in the ocean in over a year; I missed it.
