Since the semester’s end, I’ve been struggling (inside) with events taking place in our personal lives which has been a process to recover from the hardships we’ve endured as a family. I am so grateful for spaces like Norman Kel’s Arise Open Mic ( @ariseopenmicseries ) to host special events to invite friends and family to meet. Please join Starr Paul ( @starrmpaul )and me on July 5th as we begin the summer with words, beauty, and poetry. Please like, love, and share. ❤️ P.S. this is an open mic so all are open to share their creative hearts and words! 💕 . . . . #badasspaas #anothergaymoment

Tomorrow, September 3rd at 6:30 pm MST, we have the absolute pleasure of collaborating with @ariseopenmicseries to bring you a virtual open mic headlined by the sensational @ollieschminkey . The second slide is a clip from a reading of their poem from @buttonpoetry on YouTube called “Gay Love is the Only Thing Saving Me”, a little taste of what we are in store for tomorrow, and a favorite of ours. The last slide is the QR code to sign up to read your own work — we really hope to hear your words and see you there!!! DM us for any questions. See you tomorrow, friends!!!
