T H E A R T O F P A U S I N G

Travel and holidays are my time to recharge, reflect, slow down and let my mind wander.

I can spend 12 hours completely immersed in a project, lose all track of time and forget everything around me because I love what I do so much.

But I also know that creativity doesn’t work on demand, from 9 to 5. Having a good process is one thing. Having the space to think, observe, be curious and let ideas develop in their own time is another.

Sometimes I need to step away, sit still and do absolutely nothing for a while.

I loved the little beach town of Cefalù in Sicily, with its beautiful sandy beach, charming restaurants and a church filled with stunning mosaics. The perfect place to slow down, take it all in and enjoy a little time doing nothing in particular.

Individuelles Fotobuch („Professional Line Fotobuch“): @saal_digital

A few of the things that stopped our scroll this week: the simple elegance of the Mediterranean, a study wrapped in soft folds, an emerald-green ceramic bar, expressive ironwork, centuries-old stone warmed by the fire and more. Saved, collected, and now shared with you.
