We’re gonna be there with lovely poesia ❤️

Yuxtaposición: a walk through today’s independent international design
Design was always asked to be rational, to serve a purpose. What happens when it also becomes play, irony, pleasure? When it borders on art without letting go of craft?
Yuxtaposición brings together pieces by independent designers from today’s international scene, set against each other by material and formal contrast. Curated by Poesía, a platform that selects objects for the story they carry.
A playful, narrative and romantic walk through independent design today.

‏Dates and opening hours: October 16–23, from 1.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. (Monday to Saturday) and from 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. (Sunday)
Organized by: Poesía Design Gallery

I believe research sits at the very heart of how you design. It’s why Poesía exists: to understand the path behind someone else’s work their reasons, how they think, why they choose what they choose.

In Yuxtaposición, you won’t just find the pieces. You’ll find the story behind each designer, established or emerging.

See you during Design Week I can’t wait to tell you everything!

A room like this rewards patience, the pieces that stand out on the second visit weren’t always the ones you noticed first. More from inside DEORON BERLIN at @monopolberlin.

Set inside Monopol for five days at the heart of @currents.berlin design festival. @0800naturescalling will be pouring their own wines all day, made right there in the Berlin winery, so there’s always a reason to stay a little longer.

The picture keeps growing. Another set of designers and brands joins DEORON BERLIN at @monopolberlin, each bringing something the space didn’t have yet.

Five days at @monopolberlin, right in the middle of @currents.berlin design festival.

ARKOVE STUDIO is a small German design studio and craft workshop specia-
lizing in ceramics and lighting design.

At the core of ARKOVE STUDIO are the designers The-
resa Pazek and Paul Holland-Nell. They design, produce,
and assemble their pieces themselves — a continuous
process that brings together design, craftsmanship, and

Oddly Useful Objects by @arkove_studio transforms the "oddly satisfying" digital trend into a tactile landscape of abstract porcelain. Designed to counter modern sensory overload, these geometric pieces offer a meditative experience through the aesthetics of order. By shifting from screen to physical space, the collection creates a personal sanctuary where repetitive forms and calming structures provide a sense of focus and control.

These ceramics invite users to define their own purpose through intuitive interaction. Handcrafted with contrasting matte and glazed finishes, the collection elevates the organization of everyday items into a sensory ritual.
