Have you met Johannes? 🤭

He has been part of the Burg for quite some time - and not always on two steady feet.
He completed his apprenticeship here as a cook, spent nine months away and then came back to the Burg. Apparently, he wasn’t quite finished with us yet. He went on to complete a second apprenticeship in restaurant service and has been our F&B Manager since May 2026. 🍽️

His talent for getting into slightly unfortunate situations may be a big part of his Burg Story and has already given the team a few scares. And to be fair also some laughs.
The ambulance has been called for him more than once, and even a helicopter has made an appearance.🚁

Thank you Johannes, for growing with the Burg, bringing plenty of energy to the team and keeping everyone - occasionally involuntarily - entertained! Here’s to many more happy, healthy and accident-free years at the Burg! 🥰

If you know Johannes, then you probably have a story to tell. Tell us in the comments.💭

Zürs in Weiß ❄️🏔️ Keine Sonne, aber trotzdem einfach geil! 🤍 Manchmal braucht’s gar keinen Sonnenschein, um die Berge zu genießen. 🏔️❄️

Zürs covered in snow ❄️🏔️ No sunshine, but still absolutely amazing! 🤍 Sometimes the mountains don’t need sunshine to be beautiful. ❄️

A journey through time at the Flexenpass. 🏔️✨

Did you know that the historic Flexen Road dates back to 1897? Carved into the rugged mountainside, its remarkable tunnels and stone galleries opened a vital connection from Langen via Stuben to Zürs and Lech, paving the way for generations of travellers and winter sports enthusiasts.

These rare photographs offer a glimpse into the early days of Alpine travel, when reaching Lech was an adventure in itself. ⛷️

Over a century later, the Flexen Road remains an iconic gateway to the Arlberg region and a fascinating piece of our Alpine heritage.
