I won’t pretend to have known you very well. After all, we had only been online friends up till recently when we finally met in China. But if I had known that our first meeting would be our last, there would have been many more things I would have said to you, or done with you.

There are many other what ifs, but I will try not to dwell on those things. Instead, I choose to honor your memory by remembering you for all the things I know to be true about you.

Every interaction I had with you was met with kindness, humility, and respect. You extended your friendship to a stranger you barely knew, living thousands of miles away — and even gave me the honor of being a part of your project @armlab.fr

The passion and dedication you had for the sport we share was matched by very few, and the discipline you displayed was inspiring to many. I remember first watching you compete at Europeans and Worlds almost 5 or 6 years ago. And every year I would follow your progress as you slowly, but surely, climb the ranks amongst the elite.

Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your life, my friend.

You will forever be a champion of the sport, Ethan Lovei @ethan.lovei

Amusez vous mais faites toujours attention !
Dernier petit conseil: regardez toujours votre main pour que votre corps reste en face de votre bras, ne jamais detourner le regard
