Yesterday I said goodbye to my heartdog, my most precious , strangest creature, my Tullamore Fox. I have no doubt that we were meant to find each other, and for 8 years he's loved me more purely and simply than any other being. I'm so grateful that I was his person, that we got to share a life together full of sweetness and trust, and that I was able to give him a good death without catastrophe or suffering. He'll always be my boy. #tullamorefox #agirlandherdog #letthesoftanimalofyourbodylovewhatitloves

For a decade I've had recurring dreams about being in San Francisco and needing to get back to Baker Beach, but dream-me has only ever made it there ONCE in all these years. I don't really know why it serves as my psychic homeland - because it was the first and only place I got to choose to move? because it was the last place I was technically a child? because of the enduring fairytale quality of teenage love born here? - but this place still feels true, still meets me like a native tongue. It's been a lot to process what this trip has meant to me and shifted in me, and I'm grateful I finally fucking MADE IT thanks to @shesheard 😘🌉 #415 #heimat

Reminders of good things this fall, feat. my favorite schmetterling, neighborhood Oktoberfest, making a luggage tag replica of the quilt I made for my dearest bb's worldwide adventure, good boogs, good people, good leaves, Janelle Monae, and being a hot bitch despite the horrors and haggard edges of my soul (at least there's that?!?! 💀) #elsabellbojangle #communitymatters #teenageloveforever #craftybitch #fallinnc

In 5.5 years I've only ever had 2 dreams featuring Tullamore and I think it must be because we *are* a shared dream space (and mirrored strawberry blonde floor nappers) #twosidesofthesamecoin #tullamorefox #heartdog #charalum #agirlandherdog

October has been my favorite month so far this year. So many things, including a rusty return to figure drawing, getting hit on by a ghost during a seance (plus crazy legs!), dreamy twee spreadsheet dinner/ workiversary with @ellenchetwynd, intense eclipse week energy, new devastating Sufjan, and trusting in the season #lookatmego #fallisthebest #judgejohnhodgman #sufjanstevens #carolinawren #complementarycolorsaremyjam
