Memorial Day workout with some of my favorite humans!
Either figure out a way to get it done OR make up some more excuses why you can’t!

End of an era. Chain Reaction was the start of it all for me. It was the first venue I started attending shows at and the first spot I started shooting shows (though it started with terrible photos shot on a film camera). I had the chance to see friends play here over the years, as well as a number of my favorite bands when they came through Orange County. Chain brought me @armyoffreshmen (via a @suburbanlegends holiday show in 2003), which in turn brought a lot of friendships into my life in the years that followed. I saw the stage signage change, the outdoor awning color change, new shirts appear on the walls, and the women's bathroom get painted over from black to white at some point. I've seen shows with just a handful of people in attendance and @thewonderyearsband shows with steam coming out of the building because of the amount of sweat from the crowd. Forever my favorite place to shoot shows and an absolute loss for the local music scene.
