A little recap of two very special days at COCŌN!

Last weekend was all about capturing the people around COCŌN: our lovely coaches and team, joined on Sunday by friends and family who kindly volunteered to step in front of the camera and bring our vision to life.

From the beginning, it was important to us to work with real people rather than professional models. We wanted the images to reflect what COCŌN stands for: everybody and every body. Although, looking at them now, we’re not entirely convinced we didn’t accidentally hire a group of professional models after all. ;)

A huge thank you to every single person who gave their time, energy and trust to these two days. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who helped make it happen! And @gielcambre , we’re very excited for the results!

Tomorrow, Under the Stairs turns one, and we are not letting it pass quietly. Expect a few surprises and a special menu made just for the night.

A year ago, we hid a bar beneath the stairs and waited to see who was curious enough to find it. You did.

And you kept coming back.

Twelve months on, Under the Stairs has poured its share of secrets, slow conversations and cocktails that outstayed their welcome in the best possible way.

A year that brought guest shifts with @piudipiubar, a Margarita Day hosted by @cocktails.and.talks
to remember and far more nights than we can count.

Thank you for every one that began with a knowing look and ended somewhere we agreed not to mention.

So here is to year one. To the regulars, the first-timers, the ones who came for one and stayed until the lights came up.

The door is where it has always been. By now, you know the way.

Last week, the sweet Hannah Van Ongevalle invited us to discover the newest cocktail menu Under The Stairs ( the slightly hidden bar of the Corinthia Hotel ), based around " Love Letters " ..

Through the ages, Love Letters have always been a remembrance of bonds that were deep, intimate, showing devotion to one another and highlighting all forms of longing towards eachother. Love Letters know no timezones, no borders,.. They come and go..

Just like this menu, the representation is vast. Like a very famous Xmas-y movie would say, Love is all around 💖 and meant to everyone. ( which gives a perfect follow up to their previous menu based on Queer Icons )

We particularly loved this one, based on '" the secret lover " feeling.. Hints of gochujang made this cocktail funky and just spicy enough 🫶
