Here’s a little excerpt from my tune, “101 West 85th Street,” dedicated to Marta, my 84-year-old landlady and roommate from New York.
You can find the full video on Youtube.
This song is also on my album, TRIO, which came out a while ago. You can buy the CD on Bandcamp or listen to it on streaming platforms.
If you listen closely you can hear the distorted Mellotron Marimba sample I put on top of @nordkeyboards ’s lovely piano sound. 🌝
Thank you mum and dad for buying this instrument for me for my 18th birthday.

The basic rhythm in this composition was inspired by the one and only @mar.loi and I spend many hours to make this song complete.

Last year I played the early version on the orten stage at the @soundsculpturehandpan festival and this year on the main stage, thank you @leanderhandpan for this opportunity!

Played at my E Amara 20 made by @deepan.handpan and it sits on a stand from @atlas_for_handpan

199 Handpans. Festival Song – “Como Agua” live at Sound-Sculpture Handpan Festival 2026

„Leander had no idea how many people would learn his song “Como Agua” when he sent out the online tutorials to all the participants of the @soundsculpturehandpan Festival two months before the festival. How many people even own a D Kurd?
Many people thought the song was too hard, and some struggled during the preparation.
At the festival, @sven_kirchhofer held two workshops to teach the song, with well over a hundred people attending each session.
And then the big moment came.
The room was full of people, everyone getting ready to play — and suddenly, the song started playing while people were still setting up. Everybody realized: This is happening. We’ve got this!
Leander gave a few more ideas and a rough sketch of the jam that was about to happen. set up the mics, Yves set up the cameras, and we went for one take. Then we hit the record button.
And this is what you see here.
199 handpans, plus flutes, didgeridoos, percussion, piano, and other instruments.
More than 200 musicians jamming together.
What an honor to experience this!
A huge thank you to all the musicians. It’s impossible to name everyone!
Please add the names of the musicians in the comments! ❤️

When you go with life instead of against it 😍
This year just a few days before the @soundsculpturehandpan festival, one of the headliners had to cancel their show and we were missing a danceable act on the first day of the festival. So I connected with the boys of @thepantamflat (@severin_handpan @handpanbao @kreideweis_ ) and we decided to start a band, with practicing one day before the concert. On the day of the concert in the morning we asked @freelancerfabba and @tobias.bulow.77 to join our rehearsal and we loved the vibe so much, that our band now consisted of 6 people. Then, for a few songs @thefatratofficial another amazing musician came spontaneously on stage to play the piano and @i_am_rednick added his beatbox madness. Now we had an 8 people band. 2 Handpans, Drums, Keys, Guitar, Flute, Bass and then I started rapping and that you can see and hear here 🙌🏼
Another life lessen once again: often out of the unforeseen or unwanted, the most beautiful things can emerge ✨🫶🏼

How do you like our version of @eminem „The Real Slim Shady“ 😃🙌🏼

@charlyhaertel and @banaaraposa on Artistic Crossover at Schauspielhaus stage.🙏👏🔥

The venue has opened its doors, giving our culture the space and recognition it deserves.
This is bigger than a performance. It’s proof that street culture belongs on every stage.

Artistic Crossover was part of Jazz im Depot, a concert series curated by Jazz Montez.

So stoked to share this new creation I designed with @satyasoundsculptures (they did the most important part obviously: building it 😃🤷‍♂️). It’s a F# Melodic Minor 25, a scale that is not commonly built or played. It’s parallel to the C# Cherukesi. I was inspired to choose this pan by the G Low Chakuch, that @antonioarvind build out of an accident and had it while I was visiting them in Brazil. It’s not an intuitive scale, but you can create vibes, that are super unique and I can’t stop playing it 😍 here I play a song I transposed from the Pygmykeshi scale built by @satyasoundsculptures as well, that I had for a while.

And where better to showcase this new Handpan, than at my own Handpan Festival - the @soundsculpturehandpan Festival 2026 🥳 so excited to be sharing more videos with this scale here over the coming months 😍 thanks for the amazing video @vidjogeil and for the sound @manufito @arnehertstein and @__vveber__ 🫶🏼
Instagram only allows 5“#“ now, so for the scale I will be using „*“ instead of „#“ 😤
