Catch me tomorrow 10/10 at the afterparty of the premiere of @jjrecords_defilm @hetdepot 🎥 🎬

I bought my first records in this store back in 1989, even long before I DJ’ed. This is were it all began for me: first hiphop records but also a meeting point for the local scene.

The documentary is directed by a long time friend @bernievanhecke who started filming back in the 90’s, and now edited all the footage together in a documentary movie. Very proud to be featured & interviewed in this movie, cant wait to see it myself for the first time.

The movie premiere is sold out but you can go watch it @cinemazedleuven

The afterparty is free and I will share the decks with Killa Tactician @nyumo.music & Riot Squad @w0ntime

Video footage from 1999 ROB TV & 1998 Bernard Van Hecke

Out today!
💃🏻Oh, To Be Remix💃🏻

After producing and playing on our latest album, @arnestyrofoam created his own version of the closing track “Oh To Be”.

Known for his remix work with artists like The Postal Service, Jimmy Eat World, and Mùm, Arne transforms the song into a slow-building, hypnotic version built from looped vocals, cut-up percussion, and swirling shoegaze guitar textures. A soft but insistent beat anchors the track, while Nina’s vocal remains largely untouched, floating on top and opening the song up into a more spacious, indie-electronic world.

We hope you love it as much as we do❤️

❄️ HAPPY NEW YEAR 🍾

For us, Annemarie Abel and Lana, 2025 was a bittersweet year. Somehow fate decided that every time we bring an album into the world, life takes an unexpected turn and our singer steps away from the band.

It happened with Here’s the 101 on How to Disappear by Dakota, then again after Do You Ever Wonder What Comes Next by Loupe, and now, after Oh, To Be Home.

💕 Luckily, 2025 was also filled with highs: finishing the special album project, getting to share the new music with you, and holding the vinyl for the first time 💿

Most of all, it’s been truly heartwarming to receive all of your sweet messages ❤️🫶🏽

🔮Looking ahead, we’re still not sure what the future has in store for us, but we can share that at the end of the month we have a little album dessert for you — an awesome creation by our dearest producer @arnestyrofoam 🍮

❤️ We wish you all the best for 2026. Be kind to each other ❤️

🌍✨As we grow older, losing friendships often becomes part of life. For Nina, this was inevitable. As a child, she had to move from Africa to Europe, making it difficult to hold on to her childhood friendships. In this song, she describes her longing for old memories in a striking and heartfelt way. Because the story is so personal, she sings the song in French, the language she spoke in Ivory Coast. 🇨🇮

Full lyrics:

On dit quoi?
Quand allons-nous au bar?
On dit quoi?
On se maquille, au cas où?

Amies, frérots, cousines
Appelez-moi au hasard

On dit quoi?
On dit quoi?

C’est maintenant que j’entends
le silence m’a brisée, blessée
Ah
C’est maintenant que j’vois
ma prudence m’a laissée toute seule

On dit quoi?
Ta soeur, elle a 5 ans?
C’est bizarre,
mais je t’aimerai pour toujours

Mes amies, frérots, cousines
Appelez-moi au hasard

On dit quoi?
On dit quoi?

C’est maintenant que j’entends
le silence m’a brisée, blessée
Ah
C’est maintenant que j’vois
ma prudence m’a laissée toute seule

Où vais-je quand il fait noir
Sous les couvertures du désir

Maintenant que j’entends
le silence m’a brisée, blessée
Ah
C’est maintenant que j’entends
le silence m’a laissée toute seule

✨ Not Alone — like every song on our upcoming album Oh, to be home — was recorded last December at @tolhuistuin Amsterdam.
Live, and with an audience.
No overdubs. No edits. No studio tricks. Just music in the moment.
