Vanitatum vanitas pt2

For me, the festival season went on a break in early July, and this year, it was mostly about the opening weeks of art and visual culture festivals, @venicebiennale (with my oldest of friends) @festivaldecannes (just to play ourselves a bit on Kánn TV) @provence_art_contemporain (that we organised in Marseille) @fotofestiwal (in Poland, where I was reporting from) and @rencontresdarles (for introducing @hectic.books in bookshops). But all of it, mostly for fun, art appreciation, and to better understand my position in what we could call art world or field.

The never-ending season picks it up again next week with the second festival we organise with PAC around @artorama_marseille, and later on with @parisphoto in November.
Now I might see it clearer at which one I would like to be a regular, hopefully with less fun and more projects (or not hopefully??)

Thank you for the invitations and sponsorship ❣️ @loeildelaphoto @institut_adam_miczkiewicz @johannaliber @szfpali

Alkotásait az If Not Now és a Zone Magazine is publikálta. Tanulmányait a MOME fotográfia szakán végezte.
.

🌱☁️In his artistic practice, Áron Tóth-Heyn uses photography to investigate the relationships between humans, materiality, and the environments we inhabit and shape. His work is characterized by a materialist and perception-theoretical approach. He regards the image as a speculative medium – a trace through which ecological and social dynamics become visible.

His works have been exhibited, among others, at the OFF Bratislava festival (ON Award 2024), Photon Gallery, TOBE Gallery, and as part of the Nuit Blanche program in Paris. In 2025, he was awarded the Stefan Lengyel Excellence Scholarship, and his latest project, De Rerum Natura, has been featured in numerous group exhibitions. His works have also been published by If Not Now and Zone Magazine. He completed his studies in photography at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design.
