Hard Press Man Breakdown📈

✅ Stance & Alignment
✅ Read step/Owning your leverage
✅ Stay square through kick cycle
✅ Jam once receiver declares direction and gets into range

When it comes to Hard Press, the main purpose is to ensure that we widen the receiver’s release with the kick step while getting hands on! One wrinkle that we added was putting a man directly behind the DB, this will keep the DB from drifting back.

Last week I got the pleasure of seeing one of my favorite players sign his college letter of intent with University Of New Orleans.

Jamal Chretien and his family have been just that, family to the Begg household.

From watching Jamal and my son play together since Jamal was 7 years old with Texas Thunder, to many years with the Houston Hoops.

From Big Jamal cooking to @the_lorriechretien being the best team mom ever, and @jaidenchretien being an amazing big sister to all the boys.

I am so happy to have been apart of your journey @jmash_15 . Thank you for being a brother to @justinbegg_ .

Now put your head down and keep grinding.

Tonight we kickoff our first home game and welcome everyone out to Granger Stadium, as the Class of 2025 looks to Raise the Standard. We are blessed to have had some very talented alumni walk the halls of 4500 Memorial, including 23 guys who will be playing at the next level this 2024 football season. #EFND @sthcatholic #4500Forever

Catch man work focusing on:
• Moving laterally during receivers stem
• Kick step, transition to side run
• Emphasis on getting hands on at the Point of Attack while still moving our feet!📈🔝‼️
