The Art Of Direction. 🌿

In photography, the most powerful stories are told through the lines we choose to follow. Using the natural architecture of these hedges to create a visual funnel—drawing the eye past the shadows and straight to the light.

It’s a reminder that even when the path feels narrow, it’s leading exactly where it needs to go.

Technique: Leading Lines & Natural Framing.

Composition: Symmetry and Depth.

Vibe: Focused, Green, and Cinematic.

The beauty of a hidden corner of Tikhali Dam at night.
..
I’ve photographed many places around Tikhali Dam before, capturing its landscapes and sunsets countless times.
But this time, I wanted something different — a view of the dam that I hadn’t seen through my camera yet.
So I followed a random road, moving deeper and deeper until I found an empty, silent spot, slightly away from the main path.
Standing there, it felt familiar and new at the same time. I had already shown the beauty of this dam in daylight, but its night had remained unseen.
That’s when the idea came — to capture the hidden beauty of Tikhali Dam after dark.
With that thought, I set up my camera and tried astrophotography, hoping to reveal a side of this place that few ever notice. 🌌📷

I catch the stars as they fall from the sky
Each of them is a sparkle of why
I brush the space dust with a broom
To tidy the hair of the man on the moon
I catch the satellite aa they whirl
As the lack of communication makes me hurl
I swipe the light into the black hole
To the deep deafening cold
My hand waves the gravity away
As all weight fades fades fades

Hagar under the milkyway.

Captured around 3:30 am with temperatures well below -5°C, I already had a few frames in mind which I had created and saved beforehand in Photopills. This preparation was incredibly helpful because it was fully dark, and I didn’t use any light apart from the camera LCD screen light.

The sky and foreground were taken without moving the camera and blended carefully in post.

Exif:
Sky : Stacked 25 frames @17 mm ISO 8000 f2.8 13s
Foreground: 1 frame @17mm ISO 1600 f4 300s

Equipment : Sony A 7iv , Tamron 17-28 f2.8
