Happy first #mk18monday of August with my dude @wetshot.77!

When he decided he wanted to do a 10.3, messing with mine inspired him to go the FSB route but he wanted to go a little different than my Block 1.5. Inspired by the old AFSOC M4A1’s with the 7” DD Omega rails, he did his take on that and topped it off with a @exigentdefense Fireteam 5.56 which is phenomenal.

IMO the rifles turned out fantastic (mines not quite done yet but close) and while they’re are similar, they’re also are very different. Both of them are running the Crane spec @andro_corp_industries barrels and @atriusdev FRT’s and they are a BLAST (forgive the pun) to shoot. Certainly the talk of the range on Saturday.

Happy to be back to repping #mk18monday with the CQBR upper!

After building the 12.5, I had the BCM lower and Sig suppressor that needed a use… So I figured since the DD MK18 is so common, I’d go with the Block 1.5/CQBR vibe with the FSB and M4 RAS. Absolutely love it and can’t wait to get it out on the range!

11.5 vs 12.5

What side are you choosing?

Honestly there isn’t much of a difference between the two in actual performance. However, I prefer the 12.5 over the 11.5. The performance gap is generally small between the two unlike the 10.3 vs 11.5. I like the slightly longer hand guard on a 12.5 when you start adding accessories to it, but I have zero issue with 11.5’s either. There’s no wrong answer because both lengths are awesome.

First day of June is also #mcxmonday. Hell yes!

The MCX essentially just needs a light, BUIS, and a Vortex Micro 3x and it’ll be perfect. It will eventually get the LPM Duty 5.56 dedicated to it as well but I need a new suppressor for the 12.5 before that happens. In the mean time, the @quietlabsofficial converted Sandman K will do just fine. 🤌🏽
