if you can’t find me… im prolly on the dance floor

~

this clip is from a live performance of “THANDAM” 2 years ago at a Tamil meet up in NYC w/ my brudda @artist.siva - who brought his Thavil into the center of a mosh pit for me 😂 insane machi

I been waiting to share this song and so many others, I’m aiming to drop a song a month and then curate a show at the end of the year to celebrate with y’all 🤞🏾

but for now… music video coming soon

and I uploaded the next track 👀

sugar, spice and everrrrthang rowdy that’s not niceeeee

power puffinnn on emmm

~

the track in the video is called “Thandam” - my first independent Tamil release and while I was performing for arrambam one night, I decided maybe it’s time to test a heater

called up the big homie @artist.siva and we threw it downnn for em HEAVY

two of my favorite things:
- a big ass drum
- a big ass mosh pit

I’m not like these other arists mannn, I don’t need a stage to feel special - I feel special around my people when I get to share a moment with them

I grew up on dancing with teams and rave culture, the stage feels so far away and distant - being in the crowd feels so intimate and electric

I aim to BE and GIVE energy

And will always put myself in the best position to do that for you

my next show will 100% be a boiler room style celebration and we alllll gonna be thumping together 🔱💜

keep it goinnnn for me

I appreciate yall 💥🫡

I made “THANDAM” two years ago while I was also making The Arrambam Tape for @arrambamrecords as their creative director

during that time, we were also testing songs at Tamil meet ups to see how our community would react…

and holy did yall go crazy for this one

energy is something you can’t force or teach, it’s an extension of expression - your energy that night along with the tracks energy just created a moment so special, I knew I had something heavy in the chamber

shoutout to @artist.siva for pulling up and blessing us with his Thavil, you are a force of nature 🫡 - & yes the track is about Shiva and the homies name is Siva… it’s so poetic you can’t even make it up 😂

I made Tamil music before, but it was for a different story

this is me having fun and telling my story

who’s wants anotha show in New York?? 👀
