Postcards from Nepal ✉️

This was the beginning of my content journey. A random adventure with the gang, and since then, I’m always getting messages about the trek.

So if you’re thinking about doing Everest Base Camp (EBC) here are 5 things I wish I knew before stepping onto the trail:

1/ Train for the Long Game. It’s not about speed it’s about endurance. Prioritise long hikes, incline walking, and leg strength over sprinting. The altitude will humble you.

2/ Pack Light, But Smart. Every extra kg in your backpack will feel like a ton at 5,000m. Essentials? Good boots, merino wool layers, a power bank, and a solid down jacket.

3/ Acclimatization is Everything. You can’t rush this trek. The best itinerary has rest days in Namche Bazaar & Dingboche altitude sickness doesn’t care how fit you are.

4/ Expect the Unexpected. Delayed flights in and out of Lukla, random snowstorms, or feeling great one day and terrible the next flexibility is key.

5/ Enjoy the Journey, Not Just the Destination. The real magic isn’t just standing at Base Camp it’s the small moments. Sherpa stories, yaks on the trail, that first sunrise over Ama Dablam. So take it in.

Would I do it again? 100%.
But if you’re thinking about it just book the flight. You won’t regret it. ⛰️

Watch to see the fall 😂…

🥾 Getting to Everest Basecamp after 10 days on our feet has to be one of the most surreal feelings I’ve experienced 💫

We conquered both mountains and doubts. Reaching Everest Base Camp was not just about elevation, but about the journey with the gang ✌🏾🏞️

Our movie about this journey will be dropping on tomorrow 8pm 🤩 🎥 keep your eyes on our YouTube channel.
