How do you achieve gradients in screenprinting? Halftones!

Halftone printing relies on patterns of tiny, solid-colored dots of varying sizes. When you step back, your eyes mix the dots and spaces between them, creating the illusion of varying shades and hues.

These prints can be a little tricky to dial in, but once they are the result is sooo worth it.

🚚 Austin-Based Arrive Logistics Plans 1,000 New Hires

Austin-based Arrive Logistics is preparing for a major expansion after Mubadala Capital agreed to acquire a majority stake in the freight brokerage company.

Arrive CEO and co-founder Matt Pyatt says the company plans to hire 1,000 new team members in 2026, with even more growth expected in 2027 and beyond. Hiring has already increased across sales, technology, and new freight services.

Headquartered at MetCenter in Southeast Austin, Arrive currently employs more than 2,000 people across 10 North American locations and serves about 5,500 customers through a network of 10,000 carriers.

The new investment will also help Arrive expand its technology, cross-border freight operations, and other transportation services. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
