There was something really special about this wedding. 🤍

A young couple so clearly in love, not only with each other, but deeply rooted in their faith. It was beautiful to see that reflected throughout their day.

One of my favorite details was a Bible placed for their guests, along with a pen. Everyone was invited to highlight a favorite Scripture and write something meaningful beside it—something that spoke to them, encouraged them, or simply reminded them of God’s Word.

What a beautiful way to fill the pages of a Bible with the faith, prayers, and encouragement of the people who came to celebrate their marriage.

Some memories are captured in photographs. Others are written in the pages of something that lasts forever. 🤍📖

Small details carry more weight than people expect.

A single stem in a bud vase. A cluster of votives. Loose greenery spilling off the cake table instead of a stiff, symmetrical arrangement.

@bydesignflorals handled all of it, and the result felt personal rather than staged. Worth keeping in mind if you’re still building your vendor list.

Cinematic wedding photos aren’t luck. They come from a thoughtful timeline, a photographer you trust, and a few small choices made along the way.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As a San Diego wedding photographer working with couples across Southern California, I’ve learned a lot about creating wedding photos that last. The most striking images are rarely a result of the gear or the location. It’s about protecting the right light, giving yourselves real time alone, and trusting the process.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here are seven things I tell every couple before their wedding day, whether it’s an intimate micro wedding or a full destination wedding.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Save this for your planning folder, and send it to a friend who’s currently deep in wedding prep.
