Just got a handful of the new @hornadymfg 6mm 120 A-Tips and I’m excited to test these out.

I’m going to try them with H4350 and N555 in a 6 CM and see what we can got from them. The stability with a 7.5” twist is marginal, 1.4 SG at 2200’ at 60 degrees, so I’m going to scoop up a 7 twist barrel to get the most from them.

I’ll be posting the detailed results up in the Reloading Evolution Series masterclass inside the MDR Network.

Reminder! WEBINAR on September 17th at 5 PM where I’m going to dive into discussing all the reasons you’re probably making mistakes and giving you some insight and self-diagnostic tools so you can progress faster in this craft.

Comment WEBINAR below and I’ll send you the registration link. I’m only taking 100 slots and a lot have been spoke for so don’t miss out!

Hunted for a HUB mount for my @tbac_suppressors SPIRO to replace the random one I’ve had on it with the small hex on it for whatever dainty barrels people are using.

Found this @wolfpackarmoryusa recessed mount that comes in two options.
The S model in these photos gives you .25” “reflex” over the barrel, and the normal one gives you .5”
This one adds zero extra protrusion into the inside of the can over what your crown normally has, while still cutting .25” off your barrel length.
It seems like a pretty small difference, but if you get rid of the added length from the shoulder from whatever wrench flat, muzzle break, whatever extra stuff you have, it feels WAY more significant.

I do hate the spanner wrench part of it, once you get a bunch of rounds down it, the spanner bit is worthless for how stuck it gets in the suppressor. BUT if you torque it onto the barrel with the 17mm nut on the end, then hand thread your can on, it makes it way easier to remove.

These are only $75 right now, and theres enough ID to fit over my heavy Comp contour stumpy hunting barrels for my AI, so I think I’m going to have to order one or two more.

Bought this with my own Goybucks, but just wanted to share because I appreciate simple nice solutions.

I HAVE A NEW OBSESSION WITH BUILDING THEM

Make sure to do me a favor and share this. As insta won't because of all the companies tagged.

I used this in Africa and in a comp. Its fantastic. Shorter overall length. Collapsible for storage and/or getting in/out and around vehicles. Lightweight and extremely capable.

6.5cm build.

l’ve got a free class coming your way on September 17th at 5 PM Pacific time.

Want to find out what’s limiting your progress?

Comment “WEBINAR” below and l’II DM you the free training.

News Flash - None of your high end shit matters if your mind isn’t razor sharp. Mental presence and focus is far easier stated than executed and I want to show you some ways to keep yourself mentally present so you can look through your own bullshit and call yourself out.

It’s not talked about nearly enough and for me, it’s the first of the 4 Elements of Precision Shooting. The most important element.

It’s the only path to improvement. No one but yourself is coming to save you when it’s time to press the trigger.

It’s 100% or Nothing. 99% might as well be
Zero.
