Volume up! New animation for @art.lees #artlees_dtiys 🌙✨✨ I immediately knew when I saw the galaxy hair that I had to make her move! Thank you for hosting such a pretty challenge 🥰💕💕

It does take quite a bit longer for me to animate, so I’ll still share mostly static illustrations here unless something particularly inspires me to add movement. I would love to animate everything but this app isn’t very forgiving if you go too many days without posting something new 🫠

It's my first "draw this in your style" for a long time. Now, this is my kind of theme I want to redraw because I love galaxy or space themed stuff. I did some experiment with the ✨️ g l o w ✨️ backlight sort of thing because I thought it would be interesting, and it turned out pretty good. Still needs to figure something out with the glow effect.

Hope you like it as much as I do ✨️.

For those who wonder.

I recently met a friend who also lives her life away from where she grew up. We pondered over how our journey went beyond our expectations. At the same time, we both realised that we are no longer bothered by any expectation. Maybe eventually we all reach that place where that little voice says, ah so that was what it was. Maybe, despite everything, we are where we were meant to be. And that is fine too. I hope when you get to that point, you can look back and look inside with kindness.

Hello!
After what feels like an eternity, I finally found some time to sit down with my tablet and draw. I’ve been incredibly busy lately—and honestly, things will probably stay that way for a while—which unfortunately means that art often takes a back seat. However, the lovely DTIYS by @art.lees gave me that much-needed spark of inspiration to create something and share it with you all.

To be completely transparent: I won’t be on a regular posting schedule. Life is a bit too hectic right now, and I don’t want anyone to expect the routine of a professional digital creator. I’m simply a self-taught artist who has been drawing for over 10 years, and I want this account to be a space where I can showcase my work, even if the updates are completely random.
I create whenever time and inspiration align, depending entirely on my mood and whether I genuinely like what I‘ve created. This post is a bit of a fresh start for me on Instagram, but I’m making no promises—who knows, I might just disappear for another two years! We’ll just have to see where the journey takes us.

At the end of the day, I love working under the motto from sketch to screen. It all starts with a sudden spark of inspiration and a quick sketch, and if I’m happy with how it looks, I love bringing it to life on the screen.
