I grieve different.

We all grieve different.

Am I unbroken? Hell no. Losing a son is fucking terrible.
Especially to a fentanyl poisoning - an overdose at 17.

Still, I’m so grateful for all the moments we captured together. I know Gavyn would be real proud of what I’m doing, as his father, to help lift up his name and so many others. Inspiring families that are still here carrying their names, to continue one.

The past several years have been beyond difficult, AND picking up a camera, capturing little moments in life, I found a way to stay present & not spiral.

Overtime, it turned into what I’m doing now with this page and @the_unbroken_project.

Coming back from Philly recently has me motivated to keep going even more! Huge shoutout to the guys at @vizion_gallery for having me & hosting Unbroken x Philly. Until next time 😎🤙

UNBROKEN x PHILLY 🖤

Spent last night surrounded by stories—on the walls of Kensington, inside Vizion Art Gallery, and in the conversations with people who came through.

Huge love to Vizion. A true graffiti and street art gallery with something organic happening that you can feel. Honored to connect with Zerbe, mural artist and owner, and Bysil. Came to share UNBROKEN. Left with new creative friends.

That’s Zerbe standing in front of his own mural just down from the gallery. Had to capture the artist with his work. 🔥

To everyone who showed up, including the local supporters and investors who joined us before opening: thank you for making time for these stories and sharing your own. We talked about what Vizion is building, what brought UNBROKEN here, and how art gives us a way into conversations we don’t always know how to start.

These portraits carry people we love and those missing them . Being welcomed into a space with that much heart means something to me.

Together we are Unbroken!

I’ll be back, Philly. ✌️

I’m humbled to be named the honoree… but her smile alone is enough for me.

Love you, Mom! ♥️
