Russia PSA1,HIT, HOT, High protection, Decoy choice dog 👑

Last weekend Russia and I showed at the @lost_creek_creates PSA trial and got both legs of our level 1 under @1excelk9 on Saturday and @katzknowsdogs on Sunday! I’m so proud of this little dog, she not only got her title but brought home some hardware. Of course none of this would be possible without our support system @k9workingdogsofdallas / @kp2022psa3 for helping me tame this wild dog 🤣

Surprise surprise! Kate 50936 has come in season, and will be bred to K9to5 Théoden 54431 at some point in the next week. While I am expecting very limited availability, I have lost track of my complete list for this breeding, so interested parties should contact me with questions and fill out the Jotform linked below. We are super excited to finally see what these two produce together, I am incredibly proud of the dogs they have both become in maturity and expect their offspring to exemplify the traits I require in my working dogs. These are *not* first time handler dogs, and are *not* for casual hobbyists. Placement will only be considered with serious competitors or professionals.

K9to5 Théoden PSA1 WD (HIT, HOT, Hi Pro), Iron Will 14 champion
A compact 75lbs of muscle, Theo is a true predator. Exceptional grip mechanics, thick nerves in and out of drive, endless predatory aggression, social dominance, and an intense desire to hunt make him a force to be reckoned with in the work. This is balanced by an excellent off switch, low suspicion, and high sociability that make him easy to live with at home and in public. Top all of that off with a very clear, versatile mind capable of rapidly learning and distinguishing new behaviors, gives you a dog that can excel in numerous disciplines simultaneously in the hands of a skilled trainer.

Kate
62lbs of teeth and aggression, Kate is a Dutch import that has developed a reputation of her own on the circles I frequent. She pairs extremely clear, focused, insatiable aggression with relentless grip mechanics and an "all business" mindset. She is also the most skilled hunter of men from a purely genetic standpoint that I have ever encountered. Enviromentally and confrontationally, she is exceptionally thick nerved, but maintains a reasonable amout of natural suspiscion. Socially neutral and very affectionate towards her handler, she makes an excellent companion and PPD. Her extreme arousal level and high pain tolerance can make her a bit of a chore to handle at times, but is well worth it when you see the quality of the work she brings to the table.

Hush Money | PSA 2 FL Ob 89 / Pro 209.5 Obedience WD Fend Off WHD Dual Attack WHD

This weekend was full of ups and downs, but the moment I stepped onto the field with Money, everything else stopped.

I’m so thankful for this dog and the heart he brings to everything we do. I could never ask for more.

Day one didn’t go as planned, and i called him off early in the call off. Going into day two, I hesitated. I questioned whether I should trial him two days in a row afraid that things might fall apart.

But Money had other plans.

He absolutely blew me away on day two. He came onto that field powerful and clear. He reminded me exactly why I trust him and why I’m so grateful to be his partner on the field.

At the end of the day, it’s never just about the score or the title. It’s about the dog beside you, the trust you’ve built, and the willingness to step onto that field together, no matter what happened the day before.

Money, you give me everything, and you owe me nothing.

Forever grateful for this dog. A huge thank you to the decoys for keeping my boy safe while applying real pressure. That will never go unnoticed or unappreciated. @cedric_mayhem @jcamposkalifas @art_ofthe_bark @howeiskash @duvalk9trainer Thank you @katzknowsdogs for the fair judging and fun set up.

There are so many people who have played a part in our journey, and I’m beyond grateful for every single one of them. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the people who have believed in us, supported us, and helped us grow along the way. Just to name a few @katzknowsdogs @sroberts1731 @team.no.out @art_ofthe_bark @conscious_call @howeiskash @trevisonedogs @dagger.dogs @knoxx_n_tam

Last but certainly not least, thank you, @team.no.out , for breaking your back working Money and putting up with my less-than-perfect handling skills. You’re always in my corner, pushing me to be better, believing in us, and helping me bring out the best in my dogs. I’ll never be able to thank you enough for everything you do for us. I’m beyond grateful to have you in our corner. @megannmals for picking up my camera getting these awesome shots. Last but not least thank you to our club @bayoupsa

Hush Money is THAT guy, he never disappoints. He had a blast at Worlds Decoy Selection Camp. Thank you to all the decoys for the safe work. It was truly awesome to share it with Moneys mom and his grandparents @dagger.dogs @trevisonedogs. It wouldn’t be possible to do cool stuff like this with him without great people to help mold him like @katzknowsdogs @art_ofthe_bark @team.no.out @conscious_call

What a way to close out a PSA1! Titling a dog is not a linear process. There are ups and downs and growth to overcome.

Isaiah and Jean stepped on the field and put together one hell of a performance, walking away with their PSA1 and a stack of awards:

🏆 High Obedience
🏆 High in Trial
🏆 High Owner Trained
🏆 High Club — Dogma Demons 😈

Watching this team grow, put in the work, and then have it all come together on trial day was something special. Nothing handed to them. Nothing accidental. Just good training, trust between dog and handler, and a lot of work behind the scenes.

Proud to be one of Isaiah’s mentors 🫶 #dogmaacademyfordogtrainers #dogmademons #PSA1

We had another very nice extra 5 point call of this trial (with a bite after this time 😅) but the fend off has to be my favorite video. I didn’t get a chance to see exactly what happened until now.

Thank you Matt Seha and @art_ofthe_bark for bringing the heat and safely testing my dog. This is also the second trial Noctis gave me sticky outs in- and the common denominator appears to be Isaiah. So here’s an extra long video of him of him pushing deeper into Isaiah’s leg, fully ignoring my first out 🫠

Should have made him a leg dog 🦵

What a weekend!

I had such a great time photographing Twin Cities PSA Club’s 2nd Annual Land of 10,000 Bites PSA Trial. It was a long couple of days behind the camera, but so much fun getting to watch and capture all of these teams out on the field.

The dogs did amazing, the handlers brought their best, and there were so many incredible moments throughout the weekend. I’m already finding some favorites as I start working my way through all of the photos!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, competed, decoyed, volunteered, helped make the trial happen, or trusted me to capture their dog’s weekend. Here are just a few shots from the event!
