Last night at Heritage Youth was one of those nights you love to see as a leadership team.

One of our very own 10th graders, Art Alexander, stepped up and led the message.

Art walked us through Luke 15 and the story of the Prodigal Son.

Art shared three big truths from the story:

One | God isn’t waiting to punish you. His love is greater than our mistakes. (Psalm 103:10–12)

Two | Brokenness is where comebacks begin. When we turn back to God, He meets us there. (James 4:8)

Three | Grace runs toward you. Just like the father in the story, God doesn’t stand with crossed arms, He runs to embrace us. (Luke 15:20)

Our Heritage Youth Collective led us in an incredible time of worship, and we wrapped the night up the way we always do, gathered in D-Groups, talking about what God is doing in our lives.

We say it all the time here at Heritage Youth: You don’t have to wait until after graduation for God to use you. He can use you right now.

Proud of Art for stepping up and leading.

The future of the church isn’t someday; it’s already happening.

The best is yet to come. 🔥

Tonight was one for the books!

We kicked things off with our Heritage Youth version of Ships & Sailors, powerful worship, teaching, and honest conversations in D-Groups.

We closed out our Situationship Series talking about healthy friendships.

Here’s the heart of the message: Your relationship with God comes first; every other relationship flows from that.

Not everyone who stands next to you is standing for you. Real friends show up, push you toward God, and help shape your future in the right direction.

Like David and Jonathan, healthy friendships celebrate your calling, protect your purpose, and remind you who you are when you forget.

Who you walk with determines where you’re headed.

The best is yet to come.
