Another blue sky day in NC. Visited a few studios, laughed with friends and enjoyed great demos and conversations with the amazing presenters @ncpottersconference conference Now driving home and hoping to catch Amos’s hockey game on the way home.

***Strange choice of studio photo but loved the blue colors. Beautiful studio Kate. Glad I was able to see it and hope to come back soon.

Everything is finished!!! I’m over the moon at how Boogie’s treat jar came out! And thrilled at how the rest of my pottery turned out as well.

There were many lessons learned on my first run, everything from how to throw and trim a piece from the wheel, how to hand build, and then how to glaze. Of course being an artist and perfectionist, I can see so many areas I need to improve on but I’m super happy with how it all came out. The second batch should be close to glazing time and I can’t wait!!

The first several pics are Boogie’s treat jar, followed by my gnomes, a few bowls, and some candlesticks.
