Imagining Possibilities - With Future Art Educators!!!
Hosted by @vcuartstheanderson, juried by Pari Valad & Jennifer Bockerman, and organized & curated by me.

Inspired by a quote by bell hooks: “The function of art is to do more than tell it like it is - it’s to imagine what is possible.”

This has been such a rewarding experience to see all of the amazing work created by the art education department. I wanted this to be a space that art educators can simply come together as a community of artists (we are getting a BFA and many of us double major and have minors in certain art-making practices). Also I just wanted to show off the awesome art created in a department that has such variety and mixed media styles. ✨🪻
