I did a thing today… a bumblebee watercolor tattoo to represent the bestest, my one and only nephew that we endearingly call B! Just in time to celebrate his 7th birthday. #girlwithtattoos #tattosareart #watercolourtattoo

Yesterday I DNF’d my first 100K. I made it 42 miles, but came up about 20 miles short. I tried to push through the pain to conquer the race, but months of ongoing foot pain flared to the point where I physically couldn’t take another step. As hard as it was, I made the smart decision to stop before risking a permanent injury.
I felt disappointed and embarrassed not to cross that finish line. Finishing is in my nature. But I’m also proud of myself for listening to my body. I cried a mix of emotions the last 4 miles. I ran till my feet said no more. I’ll be back, and I will conquer a 100K soon.
Thank you to everyone who cheered me on and supported me along the way. And a huge thank you to my husband Erick. He signed up to be my pacer for the entire race so I wouldn’t have to do it alone. So proud of him for completing his second 100K in just two months. @artbyerick

What's Ragnar? 120-mile relay between 8 runners... it was 26hrs and 45min of non-stop running... Ragnar 2023 was way too much fun... our team killed it out here... for some it was their 1st trail race... for others it was another year returning... this race will test your running abilities in so many ways... some were hurt...others were exhausted... but no one gave up... can't wait to return... I hit new PR's this year averaging a 9.27/min/mile pace for my sections... #artbyerick #trailrunning #trails #ultrarunner #hoka #runner #runnersofinstagram #ultrarunning #trailrunner #run

Day 3, part 1, ascending to the Devil's Bridge. Letting the kids decide where to climb next. I'm so proud of them. They weren't scared at all. They know there is alway a reward after putting in that handwork. The sunrise views were stunning. Try to find me on that last picture. Nature make is feel so small. #sedona #devilsbridge #hikingadventures #hiking #redrocks #Arizona

Day 2 part 2! We visited Bearizona in Williams, Arizona. Drive through with our car just like natural bridge caverns but with bears 🐻!!! We had to keep the window up, no feeding.

I did a thing on my weekend. My memorial tattoo to my Mom represents so much to me. A purple flower as Mom loved both, the color purple and God’s floral creations. The stem being her beautifully unique handwriting. The words chosen to remind me of her love and how she did always love me unconditionally. She might have even loved me more during times of frustration between us. It has been almost 10 months since you left us and not a day goes by that I do not miss you. This piece is a reminder that no matter what happens in life I was fortunate to know what true love is and to never let your memory fade. I love you mom, forever and always! Thank you to @artbyerick for bringing this special piece to life.
