I seem to attract amazingly talented kind hearted people . This beautiful woman who I met the other day 'Ira Mitchell' blessed me with her Wairua and we just clicked on so many levels... She was a shining light with a beautiful soul that took the time out to listen to me 🙏💓

I don't normally open up to strangers but it seemed like we had been close friends all our lives.

Having someone help me open up more and be understanding with what had happened to me at a younger age was so healing. She gave me a few helpful pointers that could help me deal with things and how I should open up more instead of bottling everything inside.

I can't thank her enough for being understanding and just being a friend I could open up too xx

Invest in art created by real human beings, not AI. My work, “Storm@Brewing over Whakatipu” is currently showing at the Church Cellar Door Winery, Gibbston Valley. I donate a portion of each sale to the Whakatipu100 Trust. https://artbyirastore.com/products/storm-brewing-over-whakatipu $4500 #Whakatipu #art #queenstown #nature #fuckai

We make most of our decals in several different sizes, so there’s one just the right size! The small dot is perfect to personalise a small space. You can put them in a small nook, on your larger sized laptop or your office wall. They also look great in groups of three.

If you can’t decide exactly where to put it, it doesn’t matter! They are easy to apply and move, so if you can easily change them around if you think it would look better in a different spot. Or a higher, or a little to the left...

Here is a selection of the different designs we have available. Shop online (link in bio), or in store at @thekowhaicollective.

✨ A little piece of my artwork out in the world...

One of the things I’ve love about being an artist is discovering that artwork can take on a life of its own.

A few years ago, I was lucky enough to collaborate with @stickytickynz, who turn artwork from New Zealand artists into beautiful, removable wall decals.

I’m one of nine NZ artists featured in their Artist Collabs collection, alongside some incredibly talented creatives. 🤍

It still feels pretty special seeing my artwork being used in a completely different way from how I originally created it.

If you love supporting NZ artists, go and have a look through the other artists in the collection too. There is SO much beautiful work to discover. 🌿

Which artist or artwork catches your eye?

You can find the collection through Sticky Ticky's Artist Collabs page. ✨
