POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’ve known Nat for bloody YEARS. She’s mates with my sister Kate, and way back in the day she actually did my makeup for a photoshoot and somehow managed to make me look REALLY bloody pretty. 😂

But these days she’s turned her talents to art and HOLY SHIT. This girl is fucking unreal.

My sister commissioned Nat to create this Corey Taylor piece for me, and it is honestly one of my favourite things in my house. It sits front and centre in my lounge room because LOOK AT IT. 😍 The detail, the style, the colours… she absolutely nailed it.

And Corey is just one example. Nat can seemingly look at anything and go, “Yeah alright, I’ll just casually turn that into fucking ART.” 😂

So this is your little shout-out to an incredibly talented local artist from Melbourne’s west. If you’ve ever wanted something commissioned someone you love, a musician, footy, pop culture, something completely random go have a squiz at Nat’s work because WOOOOWEEE.

Support local artists. Especially when they’re this bloody good. 🖤🎨

Alright let me take you on a little journey. This is snailmail I opened this morning!

So I have been seeing @millennial.misfits.mail
soo much on my "for you" suggestions - and today I discovered why.

I was abit late to the game, so I was able to catch up and order the July snailmail - and I was not able to go past the sailor moon pack as well!

So the woman behind this awesome millennial snail mail club/subscription is @artbynataliev. She has created a snail mail club for Millennial Misfits, using her own artwork and prints that she creates. She is a PHENOMENAL artist and I am going to frame the prints I got with these packs!

Every print here was created by her, all by hand.

In the July pack, I got a personalised letter to me, a letter that talks about what this month's theme is and why its important to Nat (of which I share every single feeling!) two featured prints + an extra one, stickers and a word search.

In the sailor moon pack I got a print, bookmark, magnet, stickers and word search 🔍

I am absolutely going to be getting these regularly - they are so much fun and I was anticipating this arriving since I ordered it!!

Please head to both of her pages and give them a follow - and if you like what you see - get yourself some snailmail!

Artist thrive in darkness.

Hi 👋🏼 Welcome to my page,

I’m an abstract mixed media artist based in Melbourne, Australia.

A little about me:

Throughout my life I have always shown interest in the arts. I completed my Diploma of Visual Arts majoring in Painting.

During this period of my life my time was spent exploring different mediums and putting into practice different styles and techniques some in which I showed little interest in.

After completing my studies I stopped practicing art.

My passion was rekindled again in 2021 through the encouragement I received amongst other artist, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and people who shared the same love of art. These things really inspired me to start painting again.

During this period away from art I was able to narrow down my style and found my new direction.

My life experiences during the time I spent away from art gave me the inspiration and life experience to create the concept of my current body of work “Get Lucky” which I began in December of 2021.

The series is a mixed media abstract collection depicting repeated themes of wealth, positive energy flow, and attracting your desires. Exploring the question is there such thing as luck?

Many of the works in this series include scratchy tickets and items I have collected over time which I based my works around.

Thank you for taking the time to view my page 🙏🏼

To see more of my work visit my website (link in bio).

our 7 metre gallery wall / shelfie situation is the pièce de résistance of our home 🤌🏽

we literally went house-hunting with the intention to one day create an epic oversized gallery wall, so we needed a living room with a big blank wall... and here we are now 🥰

there have been and there will be many iterations of this wall – it's ever evolving just like we are 💝
