Dopamine smiles.

Some of these are still avaliable from the link in comments.

Probably my most favourite of works in a while.

This collaboration with @artbytboy has opened up a big can of worms with both of us thinking about the next works together.

We agreed that we could each have one from the collection. I still cannot decide, that's how fucking cool these are.

Get one before they are gone. Or I chose the one you want........

A fun collaboration. Love these so much.

Commission complete for @artbytboy and @lucy.delano ‘Nature Therapy’, 15x15cm box framed. Miniature pill capsules encasing dried and pressed botanical fragments.

By pre-arrangement with the collector, I’ve popped this one into a ready-made frame. If you want to get a fully professional job done, I recommend @hanginthereframing

I love making these little pill pieces - though I love them more on completion than I do at the tweezer stage, to be fair. I want to share the ideas that maybe we’re not broken, maybe we’re ok: maybe a little more nature, some forest bathing and walks will make a difference. Finally, that art is always a good idea, always good medicine.

I read a quote by Lou Read this morning:
“Keeping something simple is not a simple thing to do.” This is at the heart of my approach. Distill and allow for elliptical connections.

Another brilliant exhibition at the beautiful @regencyhouse_ by @artbytboy. 🎨✨

I absolutely love seeing contemporary art in this incredible historic building; wandering through the rooms, chatting to people, discovering new artists and inevitably finding something I become slightly obsessed with. 😂❤️

And this time it was Inside the Box; a miniature art exhibition featuring works at 1/12 scale. I LOVED it.

There was something so magical about peering into this tiny world of art. It instantly reminded me of reading The Borrowers as a child and imagining a whole miniature world existing alongside ours. 🥹

So clever, nostalgic and completely captivating. I could have stood there examining all the tiny details for ages.

Another reminder of just how wonderfully creative and slightly quirky Brighton is. ❤️

Dopamine smiles.

Did you know that the chemical we release when we smile is Dopamine?
Did you know that different colours release Dopamine?
Did you know that our brain releases the most Dopamine from Red, orange and yellow?

Put all this together and you have an unrivalled Neon art collection called "Dopamine smiles"

This is an exclusive collaboration with myself and @artbytboy

Hours of planning, research and creativity have produced these one off originals.

Link to purchase in the comments.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

If it's not made from glass, it's not a Neon Sign.

A little art, a little culture and a lot of colour 🎨✨

Absolutely loved the @artbytboy exhibition at @helmgallery_ . His work is bold, playful and packed with music, pop culture and iconic references — exactly the kind of art you can stand in front of with the girls and all spot something completely different. 🩷

One of the things I love about our group is that we don’t just go out for drinks and dinners… we’re constantly discovering new things together. Art exhibitions, music, dancing, workshops, random Brighton adventures — and usually a lot of chatting along the way. 😂

Another gorgeous little dose of Brighton creativity with some of my favourite women. 💋🎨✨

Introducing ‘Being Marilyn’. Part of my new ‘Being a Bombshell’ series.

A collection celebrating iconic human beings who became cultural bombshells in their own right, reimagined through my stencil, spray and mixed-media style.

This piece is surrounded by stories from Marilyn’s life, using fragments of newspaper, imagery and text to build the background around her, almost like peeling back the layers of the person behind the icon.

Each piece in the series will be a 1/1 original, individually created using stencil, spray paint, mixed media and paint on canvas. No two will ever be the same.

Previously featured at the ‘Inside The Box’ @artbytboy Show in Brighton.

Available framed or unframed.

More iconic faces coming soon. #marilyn #bombshell #mixedmedia #originalart #marilynmonroe

Here it is, the first of a new series. I have always been fascinated with other artists and I recently decided to start interviewing other artists to find out more about the person behind the artwork. What makes us creative people tick, what gets us into the studio and keeps us there and many other tips and tricks along the way. This first interview is with the wonderful @artbytboy from earlier in the summer. This was during his solo show at @helmgallery_ in Brighton.
Link in the bio for my website, look for ‘artist interviews’, enjoy!
Keep your eyes peeled I have another interview incoming very soon! 🙌🎉🎤🎨 @lucy.delano

What an astonishing a truly unique show to be a part of. Thank you Trev aka @artbytboy for inviting me to one of 25 hand-picked artists for the Inside The Box show at @theregencytownhouse in Hove over the weekend.

The pavilion you designed and built is almost beyond words. Incredible. 🔴

All kinds of mediums and styles on show and what a turn out on Friday evening, like being at a cool party. Lots of interesting conversations AND I got to hang out with one of my oldest friends, we studied fine art together. Love you, Jen!

Thank you Debbie @thechichestersocial and @alexstanhope for joining me - the A-team!
