As @midnightxcomics celebrates five years, they’re taking a moment to show love to the people who helped them get here. After their internship program ended, they asked who wanted to stay and keep building. The ones who did have been a real part of Midnight’s growth ever since. So now, they’re putting a spotlight on that team. 🎨 Art Team Haiku (Haikucifer) has stepped into a lead art director role, helping shape how Midnight Comics looks across their books and Kickstarter campaigns. She’s also led character design work and contributed to the children’s book tied to their first-ever comic collaboration with a utility company. Mikhaela (Mimi Stencils) and Donyelle (DKG Originals) have been key in defining the look of Midnight’s characters. From detailed monster designs to mainline characters like Sol and Blue Morpho, they’ve consistently brought these ideas to life. 📱 Social Media and Blog Cee Jones (Artcee Vibes) has been running Midnight’s social media for nearly two years. Over that time, she’s grown into the role, helped shape the brand’s voice, and expanded into writing for the blog as well. 📝 Blog Team Will B. Watchin leads the blog, making sure content stays consistent, on brand, and actually hits. Chad Singleton contributes as both a writer and voice actor, recently bringing the character Sol to life in their content. 🎥 Video Team Ihmil Herndon has continued to grow as a video editor, contributing to both Midnight Comics content and the Melanin Minds channel. 🌐 Website and UX Yevara has helped reshape MidnightComics.org, improving the user experience and introducing stronger SEO practices that have helped the platform overall. 🤝 Community Keandre W. has helped refine the Indie Breakdown community, from the type of content being posted to how the space continues to grow. Working alongside Yevara, he’s also helped push ideas for where Midnight can expand next. As Midnight Comics heads toward year six, this moment makes one thing clear. This wasn’t built alone.
