POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Today has been really hard but it was lovely to visit @theoldlockupgallery which was being manned by the very lovely, Corrina @corrina_rothwell_painting so that @rachaelpinks could attend a ceramic fair.

It was so nice to spend a few nourishing hours with by wonderful mother-in-law, Marion, who travelled down from Barnsley in order to see the final day of the secret postcard exhibition. She knew I had donated a postcard and as soon as she spotted it was still available, she snapped it up! 😍

Marion has followed my creative development from the beginning, loves what I make, and has always been incredibly supportive of my creativity - so I can't say I was too surprised. But it still touched me. 🥰

I was delighted to be able to buy a second postcard. I purchased a photograph / burnished wax artwork made by Kerry Lynne @kerrylynneartist on it last visit. Today's one is a very beautiful tea- stained cyanotype by Julie Ann Reid @julesfineart . Funnily, the other one I was very drawn to today just happened to be bought by my mother-in-law and is an eco-print - a process I regularly use too. The image is in the slides above. The artist of this artwork is Anna Freyne @artdreamspace

Thank you to the artists, to Marion and to John for improving my day with your lovely company, good food and your creativity.
