A considered approach to design, where less is not a compromise.

Just three principal materials establish the entire design language. Each is carefully considered, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, proportion and meticulous details.

The function remains. The expression evolves.

The fundamental elements of a kitchen have changed remarkably little over time. What continues to evolve is how we interpret them.

A traditional range hood becomes a sculptural architectural feature in stainless steel, while the familiar form of a freestanding furniture island is reimagined through warm timber, natural stone and cast brass detailing.

Traditional forms, contemporary materials and considered proportions. A balance between the enduring and the distinctly modern.

Today, we share Nocturne, the sixth film in our Kitchen Rituals series. Link in bio.

A kitchen should feel just as inviting after dinner as it does before it.

Long after the cooking is done, it continues to host the quieter rituals that make a house feel like home.

Our annual pilgrimage to the Venice Biennale for the @arteim_studio and Cabbonet teams.

A few days immersed in art, architecture and culture, reconnecting with artists, artisans and designers whose work continues to resonate with us, while discovering new voices and perspectives.

The Biennale is one of many places we return to throughout the year. Staying curious, seeking out new ideas and maintaining a dialogue with the wider creative community are all part of how we continue to evolve our thinking.

A few moments from this year’s visit.

Some rituals cannot be hurried.

Tea follows its own rhythm. Water heats, leaves unfurl and flavour develops over time, inviting us to slow down, if only for a moment.

A shared meal can bring people together.
