🎥 A team that became a team in the first hours of filming. And worked as if they had been doing it together all their lives.
⠀
🙏I'm madly grateful to the universe for giving the right people my way and allowing us to come together and make a movie.
⠀
And not just a movie...
⠀
🔫 A festival in 48 hours @48hourfilmproject @48hourfilmla means that you don't just shoot in 48 hours. For to shoot in 48 hours is really no shit to sing when you're ready and you know what and where you're shooting before you even start... and when the first hour just gives you a genre, a character, a phrase and the obligatory props, it means you have to start preparing from scratch.
You have to think up and write a script, find a location, people, props, make a set, style, figure out how to shoot from where and in what sequence, rehearse mise en scène with the actors, face a shitload of unforeseen problems, shoot in a couple of takes, move to another location, shoot in it, select material, make an edit sheet, compose sound, edit, coloring, make sound design, fill out a shitload of paperwork and send in the last minutes before the 48 hours are up.
⠀
Was it hard?
⠀
🧨Hell yeah.
But we defied the cool Hollywood productions (with active teams of 20 people, equipment, locations, the entire department of props and style etc..)
⠀
🎬And made a movie with them at the level (even cooler then many), given the fact to which movie applauded in the hall and to which do not (us yes).
⠀
💪🏻We all showed the highest level of professionalism, concentration and strength
