a Saccade
Oil paint and thread on canvas
2023
This is a painting that explores the cognitive and physiological experience of navigating the imagery. When your eyes dart around the visual field, and so there are little forms and moments here and there, and way over there. The painting knows something about the mechanics of the human perception, vision, cognition.

Established in 2016, New Delhi-based contemporary art gallery Art Explore has been showcasing Indian contemporary art and artists since its inception.

At Art Mumbai, they delve into exploring themes of hope, despair, and the human experience. Inspired by our surroundings, the artists at the showcase express their unique perspectives through a socio-cultural theme inspired by mysticism and history.

Visit the Art Explore booth at the fair to experience large-scale mixed-media artworks, artworks inspired by archaeology, ceramic creations, sculptures and more.

Tickets are live now – head to the link in bio.
