A few months ago, we worked on the visual creative and art direction for @theobuntu ‘s project “Into Reality.”

We began with a statement we defined: “Designed as a response to its predecessor, this new project places humanity at the heart of a reality previously unknown to it (or rather one it chose to flee). Today, both physically and emotionally present, the protagonist emphasizes the spotlight on the journey of identity and depth, accompanied by a tangible and fragile musicality.”

From there, we chose to represent the different stages of this quest for progress. Traversing the stage of inner struggle, highlighting the battle we face against ourselves when we seek change. Then came the phase of accepting change, of the situation. To conclude by representing the end of the protagonist’s transformation. Here we witness the rift between two individuals following the radical change.

The project cover intended to refocus on an iconographic symbol. By shooting a person and its object in an intimated way to invite the viewer to participate to this private moment which only has meaning for them.
