“Kuyrikner” (Քույրիկներ) In Armenian culture, sisterhood often becomes a quiet form of resilience. Across generations, women have created spaces of care — grandmothers, all widows, living together in homes shaped by memory and routine. Inspired by these intimate bonds, this small summer drop features four all-white looks, echoing the sisters in The Virgin Suicides. Here, white isn’t about purity — it’s about presence. A shared stillness between women who remain close, even as everything shifts. Photographer @vectorobject Video director @anastasiadoniants Camera assistant @ugghaki Talents: Gayane, Flora, Karina, Arpine, @tes.models Designer assistant @petrosiangrisha_ Scan & dev @boxphotolab Editing @arthur__gh Special thanks @bnur_pastry The White Drop is available on the website NENSIAVETISIAN.COM

Though distant in both time and place, they were driven by the same impulse: to walk without a map, to watch without purpose, and to photograph life as it is—genuine, unhurried, and unplanned. Their photos are not stories, but diary fragments—passing faces, fleeting light on empty streets, glimpses of the everyday. Inspired by Japanese photographers like Daido Moriyama, Shōmei Tōmatsu, and Masahisa Fukase, they use the camera to uncover meaning in the unknown. For them, these cities became more than places far from home—they revealed a different rhythm, a new way of seeing and feeling. The two series together form a quiet dialogue, united by attention to light, texture, and the beauty of ordinary things. Hanoi – Tokyo is not a comparison of cities, but a conversation between visions.
