Let me tell you something…Steve Harvey talks about chasing the dream that keeps you up at night..the thing you feel called to do. My dream wasn’t to become a fashion designer. My dream was to help people. That dream started with GuidedLight. I wanted to be a resource for the community and offer free mental health support to people who needed it. But to keep services and programs like Lighthouse going, I needed to raise funds. So I started making T-shirts. I thought I was just creating a way to support the work. I didn’t know God was also waking up the artist in me—and that those T-shirts would grow into LightFlex, a social impact brand and a whole new beast. Then came September 28, 2025: the first time LightFlex ever stepped onto a runway. But getting there? That’s where the story gets good. I had reached out to Philadelphia Christian Fashion Week before…and they turned me down. I thought that was the end of it. It wasn’t. Later, one of the children’s designers dropped out, and they needed someone to fill the spot. The owner felt led to give me a chance. There was just one little detail: I didn’t have a children’s line. So I created one for the show. And that’s how Young Flame made its debut. What began with a heart to serve the community became a runway moment I’ll never forget. To the owner.. now one of my closest friends and a mentor in this industry.. thank you for opening that door and continuing to pour into me. I’m grateful to Philadelphia Christian Fashion Week and most of all, to God for growing this work in ways I never imagined. The dream was always to help people. LightFlex became one more way to do it. ✨ happy runway anniversary to me 💅🏾🫡😎🔥😘 #fashion #art #socialimpact #makefaithvisible #fyp

UPDATED FLYER! Most of the general details are the same, but we had to post this update because of an artist swap! @tosinojo_ who runs @ehstudio.co has joined the fold for the Renaissance this December! Our dear friend @jnazstudios decided to take a step back from showcasing as a way to offer his space to Tosin outright. It was a move of Kingdom Generosity and kindness that is such a beautiful glimpse into the heart of this experience overall. “We make ROOM for each other.” Huge thank you to @ilight.tv for making room for the event overall. All six of the artists who will be showcasing their work have been processing through how to make room for each other as well. Our hope is that YOU will be in the room with us December 4th & 5th for this one of a kind two day experience. Renaissance will inspire beauty and transformation in the heart of every person who enters. Tickets are just $5 for one day or $7.50 for both. All kids and teens can register for FREE! Artists keep 100% of the work they sell. @trtl.collective @roselyn.ays @devyndais_ @artbydenisemitchell @philachristianfashionweek @tosinojo_ #RipeCreatives #Renaissance2026 #VisualArts #Fashion #Philly

Fashion is more than fabric—it’s assignment. ✨ Honored to celebrate K Nicole’s 10-year anniversary in fashion, a decade of vision, consistency, and purpose.K Nicole has graced some of the top Fashion Weeks known in the industry—her work has gone before platforms most designers work a lifetime to achieve.. Grateful to be in the building with my mentor and friend, Arthur Burgess III, whose guidance continues to shape how I see this industry. Blending faith and fashion has been my greatest joy— This is how we make faith visible!!! There is so much more to come from lightflex I’m so inspired 💡 Tonight wasn’t just a show.
