I think it’s safe to say I can never have too many pen pouches.

I was lucky enough to receive these Rickshaw Great Wave pouches as gifts from my brother and a dear friend @worldofmyhobbies 🩵 and I couldn’t wait to move some of my favorite fountain pens into them.

Please tell me I’m not the only one collecting pen pouches… 👀

A few thoughts after spending some time with the Artık Notebooks.

The paper feels soft with a little more texture than Tomoe River, so my fountain pens write just a tiny bit broader. I actually don’t mind that at all. It gives the writing a different character.

No bleed-through, no ghosting and a really pleasant writing experience overall.

For me, it’s a lovely little notebook for everyday notes, ink swatches and keeping in my pen case.

Some of you guessed it right! 🍇🥥

Artık creates notebooks using natural by-products from agriculture and recycled materials, giving them a second life instead of letting them go to waste. I think this is such an interesting idea and definitely something I haven’t come across very often in the stationery world. Each cover is designed so thoughtfully, showing which materials were used.

Of course, I couldn’t resist testing them with my favorite fountain pens and inks. I will be sharing my thoughts very soon on YouTube.

Would you try a notebook made from agricultural by-products?

I guess we all go through seasons that quietly change us.

The past months haven’t always been easy. They made me realize that some things can’t stay the way they are forever.

Accepting that took me a while. Making decisions took even longer! But I think I’m finally ready to move forward. And little by little, I’m already doing it. 🥲

Better late than never, right? ♥️

These notebooks are made from something you probably wouldn’t expect. 👀

I recently received a few notebooks from Artık Paper, and I can’t wait to test them. They have a really unique concept that I haven’t seen very often in the stationery world. I’m especially curious to see how they work with my favorite fountain pens and inks.

Can you guess what makes them different?
