This is an appreciation post. As some of you don’t know: teaching, coaching and anything related to pole is not my job, just a hobby.

I’m teaching pole classes, privates and workshops in different studios for over 12 years and I still think it is amazing. I love to work with people and see people grow! And I don’t mean it only in a way of becoming better poledancer.

I mean: I like it when people feel comfortable in my class, come in stressed and leave happy, have a laugh (mostly about my way of explaining technique 😂), accomplish a move they always wanted, feel more confident in their body or just had fun with friends.

And I will be honest about it; it makes me happy to hear when people appreciate me being there and spending my free time teaching. Because teaching isn’t always fun. I’m also there when I’m tired, hurt, stressed or injured. And just that bit of appreciation and seeing students happy, is worth everything on such a day.

In this post I want to thank;
• All the studio’s who invited me and trusted me with their students;
• All students who trust me with their bodies;
• Everyone who had to handle my creative, overenthusiastic (sometimes chaotic) brain while creating artistic acts together;
• My private students who trust me in the process of creating/learning;
• Everyone who had to handle my focus on good technique instead of fast grow to prevent pole injuries;
• My body for handling teaching, coaching and training this many hours a week.

BIG THANK YOU to all of you!
Super grateful to learn from you to become a better teacher every day! 🥹
