Air Jordan Hi 85 Black & White I’ve wanted these ever since I missed on the SNKRS release & @artisticlounge got them. Such a cool 85 Hi. Personally, with the Jordan 1’s long history with Punk Rock that’s very well documented on @xxretro_firexx page, to me these are the pair that most embody the attitude of the era. I love these, the Grey & White are on the way & after that, only 3 more to compete the set.

Air Jordan 5 “Halloween” Early pairs courtesy of @chicagoemporium 🤝 I personally think these are the best 5’s of the year. The glow in the dark sole, Nike Air, and 23 really set the pair off. Rich black suede and there’s even extra Halloween style stitching on the Air Jordan tag on the inside, Jordan Brand really went above and beyond on these. Personally, I think they might be worth a double up depending on how they do on release day, however I will be traveling out of town to a tournament with my daughter, so I’ll have to try my luck online. Still, grab yours if you can! My take on @complexsneakers Sneaker of the Year list. Much has already been said, I didn’t feel that I needed to add too much, but I did feel the need to point out some very glaring omissions. How @complex leaves off the @virgilabloharchive x @jumpman23 1’s, AND the @jalenbrunson1 Kobe 5’s & 6’s is fucking beyond my imagination. The Wolf Grey 5’s should’ve made the list, & the FTY 16’s should’ve been higher. I’m also not sure the Brick After bricks and Awake 6’s should’ve been that high, but hey. I’m just a guy who loves his cats, his family, and his sneakers. Let me know your opinions! Air Jordan 4 “London” My goodness these were a pain in the ass to get. Finding a site, doing the size conversion, making sure the shipping was in order, and then the waiting and hoping things were ok on the international order…only to be hit with an extra customs fee 😂. On the other hand, it kind of brought me back to the way things used to be. The camp out days and the time where you had to navigate a release date and put in work to get them. Regional releases are exciting that way. It’s like an “if you know, you know”, type of thing, and honestly you know the days where you put them on feet, NO ONE outside is going to have those on. If all of that doesn’t get you excited, I’m really not sure what you does it for you. The packaging, the materials & colors, and especially the back tab. I think putting the LDN on the back looks sick too, I love when they make little changes like thihhu to the tab for special pairs. I’m really hoping I can find the matching hoodie at a reasonable price too, that’s hard too. This pair was totally worth the wait, I couldn’t be more excited to finally get them in. 2026 Air Jordan 1 Royal OG They’re awesome. The packing is amazing. Everyone knows the famous photoshoot with MJ in the full jumpsuit, and the paper is the sample catalog that features all of the different OG colorways. No, they’re not the 85 cut, but I don’t want to hear anyone all the sudden complaining about them not being the 85 cut. If yall wanted 85’s you should’ve been buying them when they released and not letting them hit clearance racks. They’re a special OG to me, shoutout @chicagoemporium for the early assist. With my work schedule, it’s hard to be awake for every Saturday release. Air Jordan XI “Bred”/“Playoff” Originally released in 1996, there are still debates to this day if this is the best colorway of the original 3 (Concord, Columbia, Playoff”. What isn’t debated is how special these are, commonly being named as the answer to ever popular, “what’s your favorite Jordan question”. I’m still impressed when I pull these out the box. I’m still careful when I wear them, and still easily able to catch people looking down at my feet. Many fans call this pair “perfect”, and personally, I cannot seem to find any flaws or anything that I dislike about the sneaker. They are one of those pairs that no matter when they release, I’m buying multiple pairs each time. Air Jordan VIII Black/Chrome Originally released in 2003, they were most memorable to me because Kobe wore them during his sneaker free agency. Much like the True Blue 3’s & Concords (for me anyways), certain pairs are forever associated with Kobe. I buy them because Kobe wore them, and they’re even more special to me because Kobe wore them in game. I usually have trouble picking what I want to wear to work each day, not because I have far more sneakers than any one man needs, but also because I work at a hospital there are several things I need to factor in. Anywho, earlier in the day @Ijapino posts a pair of these in white & it dawned on me that ;these look good with scrubs & I could rock them for 12 hours-my choice was made. I always get looks at my shoes at work. I’m known as “The guy who always buys sneakers”, but yesterday, one of the gentlemen that works on the team of custodians came up to me and says he remembers wearing these for football back in the day when he played in college and how he thought, like he swore he was a lockdown better than Deion, Steve Atwater hard hitting type of dude when he had these on. The smile on his face and the pride and fire he had in his eyes, talking, laughing and reminiscing, it was special, of really was.
