Moving on to next season… But first a huge thank you to the fabulous @elaine_kimble for this solo. Thank you for choreographing this contemporary into something that brought so much soul and passion to the stage. It was such a pleasure spending time working on this solo with you. You are such a gift to the dance community. 💕

August almost killed me…would do it all again. 🤍

Presented at @danceeducatorscollective
Choreographed 1 million dances
Had the best meal with my birth buddy
Taught some pulse classes
Partied at @kaylin_maggard wedding
Performed w/ @unbound_dance_company
Met some really beautiful humans
Went home to @bsoddance
And started the 10th year of @artistsrevealed
Just to name a few 🥴

Feeling very grateful, very tired, and very ready for fall… and consistency. ❣️

Beyond special experience to perform at @danceeducatorscollective with @artistsrevealed dancers to my song.

@sammee_schirmer has the most brilliant mind and steadfast work ethic, and I’m so lucky I got to immerse myself fully in my music all because she took a chance on me and made it possible in the most intentional & impressive way.

It’s really easy for me to get lost in the process and chaos of it all, and looking at these photos makes me really proud.

At the same time, it also makes me really emotional to think about this songs origin, how it’s meaning has shifted over the years, how it felt to record it, to watch people mouth the words to it, and now to watch someone else so eagerly bring it to life. It’s the most humbling and healing feeling I’ve ever gotten the joy of experiencing. Telling the truth, and being honest in your art will always be the scariest and most rewarding gift you can give yourself.

I love @sammee_schirmer & @artistsrevealed dancers with all my Hart❕🫶🏻

Some moments from “A Real Indication” 🥳

A work I had the privilege of creating for the @artistsrevealed dancers. A truly speed of light process but oh so playful, imaginative and full of collaboration. I adore this program and these dancers.

Dancing alongside my AR team made this experience even more meaningful. Thank you @revive_dance_convention! Every class challenged and inspired me, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to learn from such an incredibly talented faculty. 🤍

~Because the Stars~ @artistsrevealed choreo by me!

Awesome shots captured by @ryanandrewbruce
at the ‘As It Forms’ production at @mththeater

This was such a fun process with a lot of new experimentation—most of the choreography stemmed directly from a set of my own improvisations, which were then restructured and matched with the high level skill and precision embodied by the stunning young dancers of the AR1 company. What a delightful treat this has been! Big thanks to @sammee_schirmer @stephanieruchjones @andiabernathy and all the dancers for your time, trust, passion, and dedication. And big thanks to composer/musician @agrekulture for agreeing to my setting this work to his beautiful beats and dreamscape vibes. ✨
