Shot by cinematic photographer @artmouaad this series turns its attention to the everyday spaces of Marrakech—the corners, streets, and pauses most people walk past without noticing. These are familiar places, shaped by repetition and quiet movement. Nothing is staged. The city simply reveals itself, moment by moment, as it’s lived and felt.

Shot by cinematic photographer @artmouaad , this series explores everyday urban spaces around Marrakech—places most people pass without noticing.

Drawn to subtle light, quiet corners, and overlooked details, the images focus on atmosphere rather than location.

The work seeks moments of stillness within busy environments, capturing calm where noise usually dominates. Through mood and emotion, these scenes invite the viewer to pause, feel, and linger—finding silence in the ordinary.

This week we are spotlighting Mouaad (@artmouaad), a Marrakech-based photographer whose work centres on capturing the textures, colors, and rhythms of everyday life in the city. His lens finds quiet moments in familiar streets, where warm brown tones, weathered walls, and sunbaked bricks reveal the character and memory embedded in the city’s surfaces.

Through his photography, Marrakech is shown not as an outsider might see it, but as a lived, breathing experience, a personal vision of a shared city where light, texture, and life meet in simplicity.
