POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Two weeks ago, I got the opportunity to participate in an installation for the #AtlantaDesignFestival.

A House of Memory was a multisensory DesignStation that transformed the TVS studio in Atlanta, into an immersive, temporary domestic environment exploring food, memory, ritual, and the spaces that hold us.

Through music, furniture staging, ingredient storytelling and small controlled tastings, and a participatory community archive- Chef Gee and company invited guests to experience how family recipes and culinary traditions become living forms of design.

I wrote about my experience preparing for A House of Memory 🫶🏾

Answering the Call, A House of Memory is live on my blog. 🔗 in bi0 ✨

It ain’t Africa unless it got the drum!
When I go out to DANCE, I wanna hear multi-genre DJ’s. True, I-N-I Am a #junglist a Junglight💡at heart. I wanna hear the pantheon of black music. Maybe I’m just a voice crying in the wilderness of Atl music culture. But this moves my soul. #drumandbassmusic #healingloverhythm #djs

Remember #COVID
Fuck I DO!
I was an essential worker.
And wouldn’t ya know it,
Caught long covid😷Shit still fucks wit me to this day.
I watched my weight go UP and down.
I lived isolated for much of it. But the world got to see us: GeorgeFloyd Brianna Taylor, Milini Turner( my Mother)Ahmaud Arbery.
I struggled with, clarity, breathing, and a nomadic life between ATL and LAX And GOT SOBER.
Born out the Struggle was my ART: iamcreativejustice.org.
Sober Mixology, COPPS Trading Cards, A seat on Eyedrum Gallery’s Board💩
And A New Album
All dedicated to Love & Justice.

Afro-Futurism: Let’s make police brutality history!

Thanks to all the galleries that hosted my show and then took it down. Thank you to my peers on the City of Atlanta Art board that voted for my project. And most of all thank you to everybody that bought the ART. There’s more coming soon.
