The first day Frankie and Fernanda arrived was the last day we saw the sun. But they’ve hit the slopes everyday even with no viz.

We have always admired @untitledartfairs Miami Beach program and vibe as the premier satellite art fair to Art Basel Miami Beach. When Guesthouse was invited to show this season, we of course accepted! The week was a marked success in elevating our platform, expanding our reach, and reconnecting with colleagues and friends. Many new faces complimented Guesthouse’s booth as the best they had seen.

@marchorowitz ‘s “Characters” drew people in with their vibrant colors, and energetic and intentional mark making, conjuring up an immediacy to the idea at hand; the architecture of various character’s we put up based on who we are speaking to, how we are feeling or the rooms we are in. A through line in Marc’s work is the bridge between performance and painting, personal myth-making and social critique, and humor and instability. We were proud to bring our vision to larger platform and look forward to the next opportunity.

I am, simply, amazed by the breadth and depth of my dear friend Alma Zevi’s @patersonzevi biography + catalogue raisonnée of the sculptor #notvital. Alma introduced me to Not and his work c. 2011, and brought me on a pilgrimage to his sculpture park in Sent, where I walked dangerously on stilted deer heads and climbed bearded towers. Already then she was an expert, and to see her, Not and @hansulrichobrist talk warmly as old co-conspirators was disarming and beautiful. I could only ask one question and I wanted to know how Alma kept such an ambitious project on track, with an artist who is always moving and always creating, non-stop. Like the artists we chronicle and champion, we artist-adjacents must be both creative and disciplined in how we collaborate. Alma’s completion of this decade-long project is so inspiring, with a resulting text-objet as complex and brilliant as she. Congratulations to Alma and Not on your beautiful work together 😭🫂🫶🏾 P.S. shout out to baby us in slide 3
