This is the art I made this week…💐🐈‍⬛💘🌟

✨ these are actually really fun because I did something I had never done before; I took paintings from children that I’ve been given through both nannying and art teaching, cut and rearranged them & layered doodles I had done from my 2019-2022 planners over it to complete these little creature environments!

Really felt like spending time with my inner child & that’s healing.❤️‍🩹

Sharing Artsy love, Creative Confidence & sweetness to the most precious amazing children of @llhtulsa ❤️.

Little lighthouse of Tulsa, OK is preparing for their graduation celebration July 17th and I wanted to honor their older students with a#Creative Confidence packs for them to use for creative expression time.
This organization is incredible. They work with students of unique super power 💪 abilities and their impact on the students, the families, community and the WORLD is beyond powerful. Stay tuned for the grad video when they’ll receive these packs!! Coming soon!

In between all the Royal fun, I had the chance to chat with my sister queen, Royal International Miss Northern Oklahoma, @autumnrosepageants, founder of @artsmatter2us. 💜

We talked about our STEAM Superpowers, and I loved hearing how she uses the Arts through storytelling and filmmaking to inspire others. It’s such a great reminder that STEAM looks different for everyone, and every strength has the power to make a difference.

DAY 7: Favorite Optional🌈💐✨

RIM offers a vast array of opportunities to showcase our talents, express ourselves & soak in the spotlight. One of my favorite opportunities offered is the Spokesmodel competition!!🤩 I love the public speaking opportunity it provides PLUS the touch of creativity because we have to decorate a pair of jeans to highlight out platforms and what we talk about.

**Dont get me wrong: I get those butterflies every time 🦋🦋🦋 but there is truly nothing more valuable than invitation to speak on your passions.

And just like that…🎓💐💫💝

In 6 years at the Univeristy of Oklahoma, I’ve concluded my academic journey:
🌟 with a Master’s, a Bachelor’s, & 2 minors.
⭐️ with 9 films on my resume, 3 acting roles, & 1 set constructed.
🌟 with 1 sisterhood, 2 roles of leadership & friends I will hold dear forever.
⭐️ through (being SUPER real) 1 ADHD diagnosis, 2 cars, 3 living spaces, 4 relationships, 7 pageants.
🌟 with 61 classes, 180 credit hours & 46 parking tickets……yikes….
*all love and no respect to the OU Parking enforcement.

I defend my thesis-project on June 3rd, which will mark the even MORE official completion of this wonderful project — at which point I’ll have:
⭐️ about 35 pages of research, 6 characters & 1 educational program.

💗I have to thank all who loved on and supported me throughout my time at the university, pushing me to grow, think critically and create passionately; teachers, advisors, fellow artists & forever friends🤍💫 —

Spreading some Creative love with the patients of @oklahoma.childrens 💜🖼️🎨 🖍️. A couple weeks ago I delivered 100 coloring books and crayons to OU Children’s for the patients to have.
Oklahoma Children’s OU Health is Oklahoma’s only comprehensive, freestanding children’s hospital, offering a full range of pediatric specialties, a 24/7 pediatric emergency department, and the state’s highest level of neonatal intensive care (NICU). It’s part of the OU Health academic health system, providing advanced care for infants, children, teens, and young adults, and is a Level I pediatric trauma center.

Families come from all over for their children to receive treatment and when these kids are cooped up in a hospital room for awhile, art supplies, creative tools, games, small toys are used to provide comfort and a little fun.
Over the years, I’ve hosted Art Supply drives with my high school, toy drive around the holidays, and once upon a time I served as a student volunteer over the summer where I was able to visit the kids, bring them goodies like these coloring books and play games with them. This hospital believes in Art Therapy treatments for healing as well, which I love.

Hope these coloring books bring a smile to faces in need of some creative sunshine 🌞 ❤️.
