The story of 11-month-old Mohammed Abu Khater embodies a painful chapter of suffering in Gaza, but at the same time, it reflects the highest ideals of social solidarity 💔🇵🇸.

Family and Social Reality:

Mohammed was born an orphan; his father was killed while he was still in his mother's womb, leaving him to open his eyes to a world devoid of a father's love 🥀.

He now lives with his uncle, who took him in and married his mother to reunite the family.

The house also includes three other orphaned children (his brother's and cousins' children, who also lost their mother in an airstrike), and the uncle is striving to fill the emotional and material void left by their loss 🏠👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.

Health Situation:

Mohammed is suffering from severe acute malnutrition due to harsh living conditions, making him in dire need of urgent health interventions to ensure his healthy growth. 📉🍼

Humanitarian Interventions Provided:

Nutritional Support: Ramadan food parcels, biscuits, baby food, and milk parcels were provided to address his malnutrition. 📦🥛

Basic Needs: Daily hygiene supplies (diapers) were provided to ensure a healthy environment for him. 👶✨

Medical Follow-up: Nurse Muhannad visited the child to check his vital signs and monitor his response to the provided food. 🩺
