Join us on Saturday 30th March at Aston University where we will be extensively looking at the issues affecting the Sikh Homeland. We will be touching upon contemporary Sikh history, we will be looking at Gurbani and we will give our own narrative of events since the inception of Baba Banda Singh Bahadurs Khalsa Republic. We have invited many speakers on this day consisting of Sikh academics/poets/activists and we have also reached out to our brothers and sisters at @astonpalsoc and @keelekashmirisociety. As a student organisation we think it is absolutely dire to engage in dialogue with other marginalised groups and we hope to create a safe and stimulating place for dialogue, discussion and debate. Throughout this academic year, the Aston Khalistan Society has been very successful, to end this great academic year we are inviting fellow Students and the wider Sikh community to join us at this event so that we can collectively move forward.
